With this edition of SPIELART we would like to start to deal more and more with the subject of barrier-free accessibilty. We are not only concerned with accessibility for persons in wheelchairs to the majority of our events – we also want to attempt to take initial steps for the barrier-free accessibilty of visitors with a visual or hearing impediment.
Icons with information regarding the following matters can be found on our website.
wheelchair accessibilty with wheelchair-accessible restrooms
Usage of the elevator only with prior notice. Please call a day in advance telephone 089-416173759.
At several of our performance venues there will be induction loops for the hard of hearing available. You can find up-to-date information regarding this online at spielart.org/service/barrierefrei.
For THE WAY YOU LOOK (AT ME) TONIGHT by Claire Cunningham and Jess Curtis there will be audio descriptions in English available. In addition, the performance on November 10 will be translated into German sign language.
We would be pleased to provide you with a personal consultation about visiting other performances. Send us an email regarding this matter to: firstname.lastname@example.org. We also look forward to questions and suggestions about a barrier-free accessibility SPIELART festival.
